The Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) are administered by Pearson for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
MTLE
The Minnesota Teacher Licensure Examinations (MTLE) are administered by Pearson for the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.
MTTC
The Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC) is administered by Pearson for the Michigan Department of Education.
MoGEA
The Missouri General Education Assessment (MoGEA) was discontinued after the June 2024 test day. Missouri now uses other assessments for admission to educator preparation programs.

The Virginia Communication and Literacy Assessment (VCLA) measures communication and literacy skills for Virginia educators and is administered by Pearson. It is no longer required for initial licensure as of July 1, 2024.
WEST
The Washington Educator Skills Tests (WEST) are administered by Pearson for the Washington Professional Educator Standards Board and include the WEST-B, the WEST-E and National Evaluation Series tests.

Teacher certification exams are standardized assessments required for educator licensure in most U.S. states.
